Italian CLAUDIA MILIOTI combines elements of performance, video and sculpture in her practice. Casting herself as subject in her video work and with the use of simple visual devices, Milioti metamorphoses into odd half-breed creatures. Simultaneously humorous and unsettling, Miliioti’s work makes compelling viewing.

DOUGLAS WHITE'S large scale sculptures hinge on a transformative notion of the everyday. White is a collector of found objects that have undergone extreme physical transformation, examples being blown out tyres; a tree struck by lightening; and burnt out recycling bins. These works explore the derelict and discarded and the potential formal strength therein as the artist reanimates them through manipulation or recontextualisation.

JO WILMOT'S paintings are free, celebratory workings of outdoor environments reminiscent of luxurious English stately homes. Found within the vistas though are clues to activities that have taken place earlier. Underwear hanging from branches or a champagne bottle lying next to the pool leaves clues to decadent and potentially sinister behaviour, forming an intriguing narrative set within a familiar country idyll.
